Nice Moves to Sign Benjamin Bourigeaud

French club Nice has entered negotiations to sign Moroccan midfielder Benjamin Bouchouari on loan from Trabzonspor, according to journalist Santi Ona.

Nice is seeking to bolster their midfield, while Trabzonspor is grappling with a problem related to the limit on foreign players in their squad. This situation is pushing the Turkish club to consider offloading some of their foreign players to make room for new signings.

According to circulating information, Bouchouari is open to the idea of returning to France, with communications already underway between Nice and the player. The main obstacle to completing the deal remains reaching an agreement with Trabzonspor.

Bouchouari transferred to Trabzonspor from Saint-Étienne in the summer of 2025, following a three-season stint with the French club.
