Aston Villa Makes Bid for Amad Diallo
Aston Villa has made an official bid to Manchester United for Ivorian Amad Diallo before the end of the summer transfer window, as Unai Emery aims to strengthen his team's attack.
According to "TEAMtalk", Aston Villa sees Diallo as a suitable option to strengthen their attacking line, having submitted an official bid for his services from Manchester United, whose final stance on the deal remains unclear.
Diallo joined Manchester United in 2021 from Atalanta for a fee of £37 million including add-ons. The Ivorian player has made 97 appearances for the team, scoring 16 goals and providing 16 assists.
Diallo is 24 years old and can play as a winger, full-back, and attacking midfielder. He has previously spent loan spells at Rangers and Sunderland. His contract with Manchester United runs until the summer of 2030, with an option to extend for an additional year.
