Official: Galatasaray Announces Arrival of Rafael Leão

Galatasaray has announced the arrival of Portuguese star Rafael Leão in Istanbul, paving the way for his transfer from AC Milan during the current transfer window.

Galatasaray posted on its official account on the platform 'X' a clip showing Leão on the plane heading to the general aviation terminal at Atatürk Airport, in preparation for the necessary procedures before signing his contracts with the Turkish club.

Galatasaray stated in their official announcement: "Official negotiations have begun with the player and AC Milan S.P.A regarding the transfer of professional player Rafael Alexandre de Conceição Leão."

According to circulating details, Rafael Leão is set to join Galatasaray from AC Milan for €45 million, along with €2 million in add-ons, in a deal that could total €47 million.

Medical tests and contract formalities are expected to be completed soon before the official announcement of Rafael Leão's transfer to Galatasaray.
