The squad list saw the absence of Endrick, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Ferland Mendy, Thiago Pietaric, Éder Militão, Raúl Asensio, and Rodrygo, all due to injuries and unavailability.

Real Madrid currently has 6 points, placing them third in the overall standings, while Malaga has only 1 point, sitting in sixteenth place.
