Barcelona Prepares for Rayo Vallecano Clash with Livakovic, Gavi Out

Barcelona is continuing its preparations for the match against Rayo Vallecano, scheduled for next Monday at 10:30 PM Cairo time at Spotify Camp Nou. The team held its penultimate training session today, Saturday, with all players participating at the same level.

According to "Mundo Deportivo," Dominik Livaković participated in his second training session with Barcelona since joining the club on a four-year contract. The club aims to keep him as a backup goalkeeper to Juan García, competing with Wojciech Szczęsny.

Meanwhile, Gavi has not participated in team training so far, having sustained a blow to his right knee during the match against Elche and was forced to leave the game. Hans Flick clarified that the player may need a week to return to training with his teammates.

Gavi is set to return to normal training after the match against Rayo Vallecano, in preparation for the upcoming clash with Valencia in the fourth round of La Liga.

Barcelona's training session saw the participation of four players from the B team: Ider Alair, who may enter the matchday squad due to the absence of Livakovic, and Bissou, who is still waiting to complete some administrative procedures, alongside Brian Farinas and Hamza Abdel Karim.
