Al Hilal Thrashes Al Khaleej 5-1 in Roshan League

Al Hilal thrashed their hosts Al Khaleej with a score of 5-1 during the match that took place on Friday evening, as part of the fourth round of the Saudi Pro League. The match showcased Al Hilal's attacking prowess, leaving no doubt about their ambitions this season.

Al-Ahli raised their tally to 9 points, climbing to second place in the standings, while Al-Khaleej's points remain at 3, placing them in thirteenth.

Mohammed Qader Miti opened the scoring for Al Hilal in the 16th minute, rising to meet a ball inside the penalty area and heading it into the net from close range.

Sergej Milinković-Savić doubled the lead in the 29th minute with a powerful right-footed shot from inside the penalty area, giving Al Hilal a comfortable advantage.

Al-Jumaan brought Al-Khaleej back into the match in the 38th minute, capitalizing on a ball inside the penalty area and heading it in, reducing the deficit to one goal.

Al Hilal's response was swift, as Theo Hernandez scored the third goal in the 41st minute with a powerful left-footed shot from the left side of the penalty area.

Krisensio Samerville added the fourth goal just two minutes later, firing a right-footed shot from the center of the penalty area, before Sultan Mendesh capped off the goal fest.

Mendesh found the net in the 45+2 minute, with a shot from the right side inside the six-yard box, ending the first half with Al Hilal leading five goals to one.

Gulf FC had an opportunity to narrow the gap again in the 67th minute when the referee awarded a penalty, but Musa Barrow missed it, leaving the score unchanged.
