Livakovic Joins Barcelona Training

Barcelona's training session on Friday saw Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livaković make his first appearance with his teammates after joining the squad, following their 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao.

According to Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Barcelona intends to retain Livakovic in their squad as a backup goalkeeper to Juan Garcia, while competing with Wojciech Szczesny for the starting position.

Daniil Livakovic remains unregistered in La Liga, awaiting Barcelona's final moves in the transfer market, while his participation against Rayo Vallecano on Monday is still uncertain. He will be registered if there is sufficient space under the financial fair play regulations.

Alvaro Corretas was absent from training after receiving permission from the club to complete his transfer to Royal Antwerp in Belgium. Mark Casado and Hector Fort also missed training, as they are also linked with departures in the final days of the transfer window.

The first-team players trained with lighter loads against Athletic Bilbao, while the substitutes underwent a more intense session to maintain their physical readiness. Barcelona continues its preparations with two additional training matches over the weekend, before facing Rayo Vallecano on Monday at Spotify Camp Nou.
