Referees Announced for Friday's Matchday in Roshen League
The Saudi Football Federation has revealed the referee kits designated for managing today's matches, Friday, in the fourth round of the Roshn Saudi League for the 2026-2027 sports season.
Four matches are set to take place today, starting with the encounter between Riyadh and Neom, officiated by referee Mohammed Abushqara, assisted by Abdulrahim Al-Shammari and Nader Al-Buqawi, with Farih Al-Jalaoud serving as the fourth official.
Rayed Al-Zahrani will appear as the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), assisted by Hamid Al-Ahmari, during the match between Riyadh and Neom, as part of the fourth round of the Saudi Pro League.
Mohammed Al-Huwaish will officiate the match between Al-Faihah and Abha, assisted by Khalaf Al-Shammari and Yasser Al-Sultan. Abdullah Al-Kharboush will serve as the fourth official, while Sami Al-Jariss will lead the VAR technology with the assistance of Hassan Al-Salam.
The encounter between Al Hilal and Al Khaleej will see European officiating, led by Romanian referee Istvan Kovacs, assisted by compatriots Mihai Marica and Vasile Turcu, while Khalid Al-Ahmari will serve as the fourth official.
Bram Van Driessche, the Belgian referee, will be in charge of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) during the match between Al Hilal and Al Khaleej, with his compatriot Roman Deville assisting him. This encounter is expected to attract significant fan interest.
Abdullah Al-Shahri will officiate the match between Al-Nassr and Al-Taawoun, assisted by Saad Al-Shabrami and Mohammed Al-Hanfoosh. Ali Al-Qahtani will serve as the fourth official, while Abdullah Zarban will be in charge of VAR, supported by Mohammed and Ziyad.
All eyes are on the Friday matches in the Roshen League, amidst fierce competition among the clubs. Fans are also anticipating the performance of the refereeing teams and their decisions in the upcoming clashes.
