Leganés Secures Loan Deal for Morata

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Spanish club Leganés has reached a verbal agreement to sign striker Álvaro Morata on loan from Como.

Romano stated on his X account: "The agreement is in place, let's go," confirming that the Spanish club is set to announce the transfer, after Morata has already traveled for his medical examinations over the weekend.

Morata's transfer to Leganés marks a new chapter in his career, as he prepares to take on a new challenge with a team competing in the Spanish second division.

Alvaro Morata has played for several European clubs, most notably Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, AC Milan, and Galatasaray.

The veteran Spanish forward has a contract with Como that runs until the summer of 2029, but he is close to leaving the team temporarily for a new experience with Leganés.
