Chelsea has entered negotiations with Monaco to sign Senegalese midfielder Lamine Kamara, as the London club prepares for the possibility of Argentine Enzo Fernandez leaving in the final days of the transfer window. Recent reports confirm that Chelsea is making a concrete move for the player.

According to the latest updates, Chelsea is working to secure the transfer for around €60 million, while previous reports indicated that Monaco values their player at around €50 million at least, meaning negotiations may see some back and forth over the final financial terms.

The move for Kamara comes as Enzo Fernandez is on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge for Manchester City, with English reports revealing that the player wishes to depart, although no final agreement has been reached between the clubs yet.

Kamara, 22, is one of Monaco's standout midfielders and has made a significant impression since joining the French club. He has now become a prominent target for Chelsea as they look to compensate for any potential departures in midfield.

If the deal goes through, Kamara will have a great opportunity to experience the Premier League, while Chelsea aims to act quickly before the transfer window closes and secure an appropriate replacement should one of their key midfielders depart.
