Fradi Eliminate Trabzonspor with Salah's Contribution

Ferencváros has qualified for the group stage of the Europa League after a resounding victory over Turkish side Trabzonspor, winning 4-0 in the second leg of the final qualifying round on Thursday evening.

Ferencváros had one foot in the group stage before the second leg, having won the first leg against Trabzonspor 1-0 at Babara Park last week.

Frinkfaroz imposed their control over most of the match that took place at Groupama Stadium, benefiting from the numerical deficiency in their opponent's ranks, who displayed a modest performance throughout the encounter.

Trabzonspor faced an early blow as the referee showed a red card to Ruslan Malinovskyi in the 13th minute, following a strong challenge on a Ferencváros player in midfield.

The hosts quickly took advantage of their numerical superiority, with Calum Oduda scoring the opening goal in the 19th minute, ending the first half with Ferencváros leading 1-0.

Marius Corbu doubled Ferencvárosi's lead in the 53rd minute with a powerful shot that found the net. Trabzonspor faced another blow when Lopez received a second yellow card, followed by a red in the 57th minute, after a penalty was awarded to the home side, which was converted by Bamidele Yusuf in the 59th minute.

In the 63rd minute, Fatih Tekke, the head coach of Trabzonspor, made a substitution, bringing on Ozan Tufan for Mohamed Salah, leaving the Turkish team to finish the match with nine players.

Christian Lystch capped off Ferencváros's four-goal rout in the 85th minute with a powerful shot, securing the team's progression to the group stage of the Europa League, while Trabzonspor officially exited the competition.

With this defeat, Trabzonspor will compete in the Europa Conference League, as clubs that lose in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League qualify for the Conference League.
