Al Quwa Al Jawiya Faces Issues Over Foreign Players!

Al Quwa Al Jawiya's management has made an official decision to terminate the contracts of the two foreign players, Algerian defender Achraf Boudram and Nigerian Anthony Orkuma, based on the request of the coaching staff led by Tunisian coach Fathi Jebali.

The decision came after just three rounds of the Iraq Stars League, at a time when Al-Suqour are suffering from a points drought with three consecutive draws.

Sources within the club have revealed that the main reason for the contract termination is the coach Fathi Al-Jabal's "lack of technical conviction" regarding the players' performance during the preparation period and official matches.

A close source to the management said:

"The coach submitted his technical report to management and confirmed that the duo does not meet the team's ambitions for the upcoming phase. Consequently, the management decided to part ways with them and seek new foreign alternatives that align with the coach's philosophy."

Boudrama and Orkuma were among the signings made by the club at the start of the season to strengthen the squad, but they have not been able to establish themselves in the starting lineup and have not provided the necessary contribution.

The situation has become complicated following the termination decision, as sources indicate that the players have refused to leave the club without receiving their full financial entitlements.

Sources added:

"The players demanded to receive the full value of their contracts, considering that the decision to part ways came from the club and the coaching staff, not due to any shortcomings on their part. Thus, the management is now obliged to pay the contract value to the players."

This demand puts the management in a difficult position, especially given the financial pressures that most clubs in the league are experiencing. It forces the "Falcons" to pay large sums to players from whom the team will not benefit technically.

The decision to part ways with the duo confirms that Fitih Al-Jabal has begun to impose his tactical vision on the team, and he aims to restructure the foreign roster to align with his plan.

The Tunisian coach stated after the draw with Gaz Al-Shamal that he "needs to do a lot of work in the upcoming phase," and it seems that the first step in this process was to get rid of players he does not want.
