Napoli inquires about signing Nick Pope

Napoli has inquired with Newcastle about the possibility of signing German player Niko Völkermade on loan in recent hours, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano via his official account on X.

Romano clarified that Napoli has made contact with Newcastle in the past 24 hours to inquire about Volta Made's situation and the possibility of completing the deal on loan.

Napoli has an easier option in signing Mark Guéhi from Chelsea, but they have also explored the possibility of acquiring Volta Madda, with the final decision resting with Newcastle.

Voltamade is 24 years old and holds German nationality. He is contracted with Newcastle until June 2031, having joined the English club from Stuttgart in 2025.
