Postecoglou Confirms Ronaldo and Simakan's Availability Ahead of Al-Taawoun Clash

Ange Postecoglou, the head coach of Al Nassr, has reassured the fans regarding the readiness of Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohamed Simakan ahead of the anticipated clash against Al Taawoun in the fourth round of the Roshn Saudi League.

Ange Postecoglou stated at the press conference: "Ronaldo is physically ready," explaining that managing the Al Nassr captain follows a calculated training program, focusing on a gradual involvement.

The Al Nassr coach stated that Ronaldo possesses an impressive level both athletically and physically, emphasizing the coaching staff's commitment to managing his participation according to his condition.

Ange Postecoglou revealed that Mohamed Simakan is ready to participate, having returned to team training, noting that he was able to take part in the previous match against Al-Ettifaq.

Al Nassr's coach clarified that the decision to exclude Simakan from the match against Al Ettifaq was made to avoid taking risks, especially with the reliance on the duo of Martinez and Al Omari during the game.

Ange Postecoglou spoke about Nawaf Al-Aqidi, confirming that the goalkeeper continues to train normally with the group, but he needs more work to regain his readiness for official matches.

Al-Aqeedi has been away from official matches for an extended period, so he must continue training until he is ready to return when the opportunity arises.
