Aston Villa Signs Leon Goretzka on Free Transfer

Aston Villa has officially announced the signing of German midfielder Leon Goretzka on a free transfer.

The club announced that Goretzka, who has 73 international appearances for Germany, joins the team after a successful career with Bayern Munich, during which he won the UEFA Champions League.

Leon Goretzka has played over 500 matches in his professional career, starting his journey with his hometown club VfL Bochum, before moving to Schalke 04, and then joining Bayern Munich in 2018.

During seven seasons with the Bavarian giant, the German midfielder has succeeded in winning 7 Bundesliga titles, along with numerous other trophies.
