Atletico Madrid Slams Door on Barcelona for Julian Alvarez

Atletico Madrid's board of directors announced today, Thursday, their unanimous support for the club's decision not to negotiate with Barcelona regarding the transfer of Argentine forward Julian Alvarez.

Atletico Madrid has officially stated that the club is open to negotiations regarding the transfer market, but on the condition that they are conducted in an "ethical and professional" manner with mutual respect between clubs.

The club emphasized that Barcelona, from its perspective, has not fulfilled these conditions, and therefore "there have been and will be no negotiations" with the Catalan club regarding Alvarez's transfer.

Atletico has indicated its confidence in the player's understanding of the club's decision, urging him to continue focusing and working to help the team achieve its goals, just as he did during the two seasons he spent wearing the team's jersey.
