Marwan Attia Extends Contract with Al Ahly Until 2030
Al Ahly has resolved the contract renewal of Marwan Attia, the midfielder of the first football team, allowing him to continue his journey with the Red Castle until 2030, after both parties agreed on all details of the new contract.
Al Ahly officially announced the renewal of the player's contract on Thursday morning, August 27, thus closing one of the important files related to the future of the team's key elements in the upcoming phase.
The contracts were signed during a meeting between Marwan Attia and Dr. Essam Siraj El-Din, the club's head of contracts, on Wednesday evening, following the conclusion of the renewal agreement.
Al Ahly officials have completed the administrative and financial procedures for the new contract, in coordination with Wael Gomaa, the club's football director, paving the way for the midfielder to remain with the team for additional years.
Marwan Attia expressed his happiness at renewing his ties with Al Ahly, emphasizing his pride in remaining among the fans of the Red Castle, and his eagerness to continue winning titles and achieving more successes with the team.
Al Ahly is gearing up to face Zed on the evening of Friday, August 28, as part of the second round of the Egyptian Premier League for the 2026-2027 season, in a match hosted at the Cairo International Stadium.
The match between Al Ahly and ZED kicks off at 8 PM Cairo and Mecca time, and 9 PM UAE time, with the Red team eager to maintain their positive results in the tournament.
