Al Ahly Bank Coach: We Must Reflect and Address Our Mistakes
Ayman El Ramady, the coach of Al Ahly Bank, expressed his regret over the loss his team suffered against Zamalek in today's match in the Egyptian Premier League.
Zamalek achieved a victory against Al Ahly Bank with a score of 3-0 at Cairo International Stadium, in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Ayman El Ramady, the head coach of Al Ahly Bank, stated in a press conference that his team needed to show a stronger character from the start of the match against Zamalek. He confirmed that the players wasted many opportunities despite their ability to threaten the white team's goal multiple times.
Al-Ramadi stated after the match: "It was a very strange game, and we should have shown a stronger character from the start of the first half. We missed a lot of chances and managed to threaten Zamalek's goal multiple times."
He continued: "We need a moment to reflect on ourselves and correct our mistakes, because the team's character on the pitch must be stronger than that. The team's mentality needs to change; when the score was 0-0, we managed to reach Zamalek's goal, and I admit there were mistakes."
Regarding the possibility of imposing penalties on players due to the team's weak character, Al-Ramadi clarified: "Certainly, the club will look for the best, and punishment is a possibility in football, because there are some players whose character needs to change on the pitch."
