Manchester City Signs Ayoub Bouaddi

Manchester City has officially announced the completion of their contract with Moroccan midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi, arriving from French club Lille on a five-year deal, pending the necessary international clearances.

Bouaddi, 18 years old, joins Manchester City on a contract that runs until 2031, continuing his career with one of Europe's top clubs after catching attention with his outstanding performances for Lille and the Moroccan national team.

The young player has played 96 matches with the French team, and he also has 8 international appearances with the Morocco national team, having previously represented France at youth levels and under-21 before deciding to represent Morocco, his parents' country.

Boudi made his first appearance with Lille's first team in the Europa Conference League just three days after turning sixteen, before gradually establishing himself as a key player in the squad over the following two seasons.

The Moroccan midfielder delivered standout performances for his national team during the recent World Cup, showcasing his composure on the ball and ability to control the rhythm of the game, making him one of the tournament's most promising young talents.

Bouadi stated after his transfer to Manchester City: "This is a very special day for me and my family. Manchester City is the best club in the world for me, and it's amazing to be here and call myself a City player."

He added: "I have watched Manchester City for many years and I love their style of play. The club always tries to deliver high-quality football, and it has proven to be a team accustomed to winning."

Hugo Vieira, Manchester City's sporting director, praised the player's capabilities, stating that Bouadi possesses immense potential, along with exceptional football intelligence that qualifies him for further development in the coming years.

According to various media reports, the deal cost Manchester City €95 million plus €5 million in add-ons.
