Al Nassr's Comeback Against Al Ettifaq Sets Historic Records in Roshn League
Al Nassr completed a historic comeback against Al Ettifaq, overturning a two-goal deficit to win 3-2, even after playing more than 80 minutes with ten men. The 'Global' added new achievements to their record.
Al Nassr has achieved this milestone for the first time in its history of participation in the Pro League, having previously trailed 0-2 in five matches, all of which ended in draws without securing a win.
Nassr's last comeback against Al-Ettifaq after being two goals down occurred in March 2022, when the team managed to equalize and finish the match 2-2.
Al Nassr has preserved its record as the team with the longest consecutive scoring streak in the history of the Professional League, reaching the remarkable milestone of 90 consecutive matches in which they have found the back of the net.
Al Nassr is now just six matches away from matching the world record held by Argentina's River Plate, which boasts a consecutive scoring streak of 96 matches.
Al Nassr also recorded the fastest comeback by a team playing with ten men in Pro League history, needing just 17 minutes to overturn their deficit against Al Ettifaq.
Al Nassr began their comeback with a goal from Sadio Mané in the 74th minute, followed by Abdulilah Al-Amri equalizing in the 77th minute. Mané then sealed the match with his second goal and the team's third in the 90th minute.
