Roma Battles Juventus for Frank Kessie Signing

Roma has entered the race to sign Ivorian Frank Kessie, the former midfielder of Al Ahli, driven by the desire of head coach Gian Piero Gasperini, according to Sky Sport Italia.

Roma has made initial inquiries about the possibility of signing Franck Kessié, who is well-known to Gian Piero Gasperini after previously working under him at Atalanta. During his time at Atalanta, Kessié played 31 matches, scoring 7 goals and providing 4 assists.

Kessie concluded last season with Al Ahli before becoming a free agent following the end of his experience in the Saudi league. He scored 12 goals and provided 6 assists in 42 matches.

Roma's interest in acquiring the player comes as Gasperini seeks to bolster his midfield. Meanwhile, Juventus continues its efforts to sign Kessié, but the club needs to complete some sales first to make room in their squad.
