Marwan Mermouch Set for Medical Ahead of Tottenham Move

Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush, currently with Manchester City, is undergoing a medical at Tottenham Hotspur today, paving the way for his transfer to the London club.

British newspaper "Telegraph" has reported that Marouch will join Tottenham on loan, with an obligation to buy for £60 million at the end of the season.

Marouch will become the second player to transfer from Manchester City to Tottenham this week, following Brazilian Savinho, who completed his move for an initial £75 million, with the deal potentially rising to £85 million.

Marmoush joined Manchester City in January 2025 from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59 million.

Marouch is set to compete for a forward wing position in Roberto De Zerbi's lineup, with the ability to also play as a striker, while Tottenham prepares to complete the formalities of the transfer.

The deal for Marmoush, alongside the transfer of Safinov, brings the total value of the two transfers to £145 million, while Tottenham's spending during the summer transfer window exceeds £380 million.
