Al Ahly Club announced today, Tuesday, the signing of a contract to build its sixth branch, which will be its first in Upper Egypt in the new city of Sohag. This move aims to expand its branches and presence across various governorates in the country.


The club announced that the contract signing took place during a grand ceremony, attended by several officials, including Mahmoud El Khatib, the club president, Yassin Mansour, the vice president, Tarek Kandil, Sayed Abdel Hafiz, Ahmed Hossam Awad, Ibrahim El Amari, and Rowaida Hossam, members of the board, along with Saad Shalaby, the executive director.


The new branch will cover an area of about 30 acres, featuring various sports, social, and service buildings, making it a comprehensive hub that meets the needs of members and provides exceptional services to the club's wide audience in Sohag.


Al Ahly's new branch in Sohag will include a main social building, an administrative building, and a swimming pool complex, along with football pitches, basketball courts, volleyball courts, handball courts, as well as tennis courts, a gymnasium, and facilities dedicated to youth and academies.
