Zamalek's Registration Halted, Total Cases Rise to Four
FIFA announced today, Tuesday, August 25, the suspension of registration for Zamalek, bringing the total number of registration suspension cases against the club to four, without disclosing the party responsible for this.
FIFA has revealed through its complaints portal that it has imposed a new indefinite registration ban on Zamalek. This decision comes after the club recently succeeded in settling its issues and reducing the number of registration ban cases against it to just three.
FIFA has successfully resolved the latest registration issues, specifically the two cases related to the financial claims of Ukrainian club Oleksandriya regarding the transfer of Brazilian player Juan Pezzera to Zamalek, removing them from the list of cases involving the White Castle at the international federation.
Zamalek is currently preparing to face their counterpart Al Ahly Bank tomorrow evening, Wednesday, at Cairo International Stadium, in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League.
