Barcelona Reaches Agreement to Sign Livakovic

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Barcelona has signed all the documents for the transfer of Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic from Fenerbahce, pending only the official procedures and the official announcement.

Romano explained that Fenerbahçe will receive €2 million for the deal, plus an additional €2 million in potential add-ons, making the total value of the transaction €4 million if all additional conditions are met.

According to the plan in place, Livakovic will not be part of Barcelona's squad this season, as the club aims to find a suitable loan for the goalkeeper during the current campaign, with a return to Barcelona expected in June 2027.

Barcelona aims to make Livakovic the team's backup goalkeeper starting June 2027, following the departure of Polish keeper Wojciech Szczesny, as part of the club's strategy to organize the future of the goalkeeper position.

Livaković has excelled in recent years with the Croatian national team and Fenerbahçe, boasting significant international experience, prompting Barcelona to finalize the deal early as part of their plans for the upcoming season.
