Brighton Secures Deal for Jwan Hegam
Brighton & Hove Albion have struck a deal with Swiss club Young Boys for the signing of Algerian international Jwan Hjem, in a transfer worth €12 million, along with performance-related add-ons, according to Belgian journalist Sasha Tavolieri.
According to the same source, Hajjam, 23, will sign a contract with Brighton that runs until June 2031, embarking on a new experience in the Premier League after his standout performances with Young Boys.
The Algerian left-back is set to travel to England within the next 24 hours to complete the final steps of his transfer, including medical examinations and official signing.
Hajjam joined Young Boys from Nantes in January 2024 and has established himself within the Swiss team, attracting interest from several European clubs, culminating in Brighton being close to finalizing the deal officially.
