Al-Shabab has finalized the signing of Senegalese goalkeeper Mory Diaw, adding a new element to their squad during the summer transfer window in preparation for the upcoming season.

Al-Shabab chose to unveil the signing in a different manner, via their official account on the X platform, with a video that featured the phrase "To a different rhythm... one of the lions is approaching."

Diao, 33 years old, has extensive experience in French football, having worn the jerseys of several clubs, most notably Clermont Foot and Le Havre, along with other stints across Europe.

The Senegalese goalkeeper measures 1.97 meters tall and possesses extensive experience in European competitions, which gives him the ability to add more strength and expertise to the goalkeeping position at Al-Shabab.

The signing is part of Al-Shabab's management plan to rebuild the team in a more balanced way, by acquiring players who combine experience and readiness, which will help the club improve its performance during the new season.

Al Shabab is counting on Mory Diaw to provide stability in the backline, as the Senegalese goalkeeper has become the latest addition to the 'Lions' during the summer transfer window, amid hopes of achieving better results.
