Napoli Agrees to Loan Obariten to Lorient

Napoli has reached an agreement with Lorient regarding the transfer of Nigerian defender Nosa Obariten to the French club during the current transfer window.

According to reports, the deal will be a loan with a buy option, set at €3.5 million, along with Napoli retaining a percentage of any future sale of the player.

Oubareitine had caught the attention of several clubs, including Sturm Graz, Genoa, and Udinese, before Lorient successfully clinched the race for him.

The defender is 23 years old and spent last season on loan at Empoli, while now seeking a greater opportunity to participate with Lorient, amid his ongoing contract with Napoli.
