Saudi Pro League Reschedules 3 Rounds to Support National Team Camp

The Saudi Pro League has rearranged the dates for three rounds of the Roshan Saudi League in response to a request for an extension of the national team's preparation ahead of their participation in the Gulf Cup.

The eighth round is now scheduled to be held between October 9 and 11, instead of its previous dates from September 17 to 19, to give the national team more time for preparation.

The ninth round will see a new adjustment, as its matches are now scheduled to take place from October 15 to 17, after initially being set for October 9 to 11.

Matchday 10 has also seen changes, with its dates now set for October 18 to 20 instead of the previously scheduled period of October 15 to 17.

Matchday 11 will kick off on October 23 instead of the previously scheduled October 22, taking into account rest periods between matches and maintaining player readiness.

The league has clarified that the amendments were made to support the national team's preparation program, providing a longer training period before competing in the Gulf Cup, while considering the season's requirements.

The Saudi Pro League is keen to achieve a balance between the Roshan League schedule and the needs of the national team, helping players reach their best readiness during international competitions.

The league has confirmed its continued coordination with the Saudi Football Federation, aiming to align the competition schedule with the national team's program and provide the best conditions for representing the Kingdom on international stages.
