Al Quwa Al Jawiya Considering Contract Terminations for Some Players

Sources have revealed that Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya's management intends to terminate the contracts of two foreign players in the coming days, as part of a strategy to reorganize the squad ahead of the upcoming domestic and continental competitions.

Sources indicate that the targeted duo consists of Algerian center-back Achraf Boudramah and Nigerian midfielder Moses Orkoma.

According to sources, the decision was made based on the technical vision of Tunisian coach Fathi Jebali, who was not convinced by the players' level during the recent training sessions and friendly matches.

Sources have revealed: "The management has entered into negotiations with Boudrama and Orkoma to agree on mutually terminating their contracts, in order to make room for new signings."

The duo joined the ranks of "Al-Suqoor" at the beginning of the current season, but they have not provided the required contribution so far in the eyes of the coaching staff.

The management of Al Quwa Al Jawiya is not stopping at just letting players go; they are actively seeking to sign three new professional players to fill the void left by Budrama and Orkuma.

Sources have confirmed that the management is targeting players with specific characteristics that meet the team's needs in the backline, midfield, and attack, aligning with Fathi Jabal's style.

Negotiations are ongoing with several names from various football schools, and the announcement of new signings will be made soon, once the current players' release procedures are completed.

This administrative move comes as Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya aims to prepare itself in the best possible way for participation in the Asian Elite Championship, as the club seeks to represent Iraqi football honorably.

A source at the club stated: "Participation in the Asian competition requires a complete team. Our goal is to compete, not just to show up, so quick decisions had to be made to strengthen the squad."
