Ghidjemis Misses Juventus Clash Due to Transfer Market

Algerian Faris Ghidjemis will miss Frosinone's lineup for the match against Juventus today, Sunday, in a surprise ahead of the kickoff of the Serie A opener.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Ghidjemes does not feel prepared to participate in the match, with his absence primarily linked to recent developments in the transfer market.

The Algerian striker is attracting interest from Monaco and Besiktas, with the Turkish club accelerating their efforts in recent hours. Besiktas is preparing to make a bid of around €14 million to Frosinone to secure the player's services.

Massimiliano Allegri is set to start 2004-born player Fini in the first team, replacing Ghidjemis.

The Algerian had a prominent role in Frosinone's rise last season, scoring 15 goals in 37 matches in the Serie B, while he has a total of 17 goals in 67 matches with the team.
