Galatasaray Rejects Al Hilal's Bid for Osimhen
Galatasaray has rejected a massive financial offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen during the current summer transfer window.
According to the Turkish newspaper "Milliyet", Al Hilal's bid was around €130 million, but the Turkish club's management insisted on keeping their top scorer and decided not to approve his departure.
Al Hilal's move comes as part of the club's efforts to enhance its offensive capabilities by acquiring a standout forward who can add more effectiveness to the frontline.
Victor Osimhen holds an important position within Galatasaray, having become one of the standout players since joining the team, which has led the Turkish management to insist on his continued presence.
Al Hilal's return with a new offer remains a possibility, as the Saudi club aims to finalize a strong attacking deal. However, they may shift their focus to other targets if Turkish resistance continues.
Victor Osimhen has had several prominent European experiences, starting his journey with VfL Wolfsburg in Germany, then playing for Charleroi in Belgium and Lille in France, before moving to Napoli in Italy.
The Nigerian striker joined Napoli in 2020 and continued his career with the Turkish club, becoming one of the standout names in the current transfer market as Al Hilal's interest in his services grows.
