RS Berkane Signs Goalkeeper Youssef El Moutaï

RS Berkane has finalized the signing of Moroccan goalkeeper Youssef El Moutaï, announcing on Saturday that he has joined the team on a contract that extends for two sporting seasons, until the summer of 2028. This move is part of the club's efforts to strengthen the goalkeeper position ahead of upcoming challenges.

Mati possesses important experience in the Moroccan league, having represented several national clubs, most notably Wydad Casablanca, Chabab Mohammedia, and Ittihad Tanger, along with his recent stint at Olympique Safi.

The Moroccan goalkeeper delivered strong performances during the second half of last season while wearing the Olympique Safi jersey, participating in 13 matches in the Professional League and the African Confederation Cup, before deciding to move on to a new chapter with the Orange team.

Al-Mutai had entered into the process of terminating his contract with Olympique Safi in recent weeks due to not receiving his outstanding financial dues, before the contractual relationship between the two parties came to a complete end.

With his move to RS Berkane, Moutai embarks on a new challenge, having chosen to continue his career in the national league with the orange team, which is counting on his experience to enhance their options in the goalkeeping position for the upcoming phase.
