Espi: I'm the happiest man in the world, it was crazy
Carlos Espi, Real Madrid player, spoke after scoring the dramatic winning goal against Espanyol, expressing his immense happiness with the moment that secured victory for his team in the second round of La Liga.
Reflecting on his feelings after scoring, Esbi said: "I am the happiest man in the world. When I saw the ball, I thought it couldn't be meant for me."
Regarding the instructions given to him by José Mourinho before entering the pitch, he explained: "He asked me to work as hard as I could, to give everything during these ten minutes, and to play alongside Kylian in the attack."
Speaking about his relationship with his new teammates, Esbi said: "It's amazing. Playing alongside Kylian and all the players is incredible."
He concluded his celebration with the goal, saying: "It was a tough match, and this anger was a result of everything that happened. When I turned around and saw all the bench players running towards me, it was crazy."
