Pape Sarr Set to Leave Tottenham as Galatasaray Weighs in on Transfer
Tottenham Hotspur has informed their Senegalese midfielder Pape Sarr that he is now on the transfer list, amid the changes the team is undergoing during the current summer transfer window.
According to "TEAMtalk", Tottenham's decision was made after the signing of Sandro Tonali and Matheus Fernandes, alongside having a number of midfield players in the squad.
Sarr did not take the club's decision well, as journalist "Sasha Tavolieri" reported that the player deleted all his posts related to Tottenham from his social media accounts, while negotiations with Galatasaray regarding his transfer continue.
Journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reported that Pape Sarr wishes to move to Galatasaray, noting that there is currently no agreement between the clubs as negotiations continue.
According to Turkish reports, Tottenham rejected a €20 million offer from Galatasaray for the player, while the English club insists on receiving €25 million, which is around £21.5 million.
