Hassan Tambakti, defender for Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal, is nearing a gradual return to team training after progressing in the rehabilitation program he underwent in recent weeks.

According to Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah", 27-year-old Tambakti has begun the initial phase of his physical and technical program after completing his treatment, as he continues to work under the supervision of the medical staff in preparation for his full return to team participation.

Al Hilal's defender sustained an injury to the bottom of his heel while participating with the Saudi national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The injury has caused Timbukti to miss Al Hilal's preseason camp in Austria, as well as the matches against Al Faisaly and Al Fayha in the Roshn Saudi League, in addition to the encounter with Al Raed in the Round of 32 of the King’s Cup.

Since joining Al Hilal during the summer of 2023, Tambakti has played 103 matches for the team, scoring two goals and providing three assists, and is now close to returning to bolster the team's options for upcoming challenges.
