Goretzka Decides on Next Move Amid Newcastle and Aston Villa Interest

Newcastle United and Aston Villa have entered negotiations to sign German international Leon Goretzka during the current summer transfer window, following his departure from Bayern Munich.

According to "TEAMtalk", 31-year-old Goretzka has become a free agent, while his representatives continue to assess the offers presented to him, with interest from several clubs in the Premier League.

Representatives have held discussions with Aston Villa and Newcastle regarding a potential transfer. They have also reached out to Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool to explore the possibility of a move.

Despite interest from clubs in Italy, Spain, the Saudi league, and the American league, Goretzka prioritizes a move to the Premier League, having identified England as his preferred destination for the next phase of his career.

Goretzka has played 312 matches with Bayern Munich, scoring 51 goals and providing 53 assists. He has also represented the German national team in 73 matches, netting 15 goals.
