Ittihad Alexandria President: Drawing with Zamalek is a Good Result
Mohamed Ahmed Salama, the Chairman of Ittihad Alexandria, spoke about his team's draw against Zamalek yesterday, Friday, in the Premier League.
The match between Zamalek and Al Ittihad, played yesterday Friday as part of the first round of the Egyptian Premier League, ended in a 0-0 draw.
Mohamed Ahmed Salama wrote on his official Facebook account: "Thank God.. a draw at the start of the season," praising the level displayed by Al-Ittihad players during the match.
The club president stated that the team performed well in its initial steps of the new season, noting that not reaching optimal levels of cohesion at the beginning of the season is natural and requires some time and continuous effort from both the coaching staff and the players.
Salama confirmed that the coaching staff will work in the upcoming period to develop the team's performance and reach the level that the club and its fans aspire to, while benefiting from the positive points that emerged during the match against Zamalek.
Mohamed Ahmed Salama emphasized that securing a point against Zamalek is a good result at the beginning of the team's league journey, noting that the most important thing in the upcoming phase is to build on this start and achieve better results in the coming matches.
The president of Al Ittihad Alexandria stated that the team has the ability to deliver stronger performances over time, as they continue to work and the level of harmony among the players increases.
