De Zerbi Confirms Bergwijn's Future at Tottenham

Italian manager Roberto De Zerbi has settled the speculation surrounding the future of Swedish midfielder Lucas Bergvall, confirming his stay with the team for the upcoming season.

Roberto De Zerbi stated: "Lucas Bergwijn will stay, I am 100% sure."

The Italian coach added: "We talked a lot during the preparation period. He is a top-class player, and he has tremendous potential."

He added: "I think he wants to stay now, and we have no problem with that."

De Zerbi's statements put an end to the speculation linking Bergwijn with a departure from Tottenham during the summer transfer window, amid interest from several clubs, most notably Newcastle United.
