Official: Inter Signs Curtis Jones

Inter Milan has officially announced the signing of English midfielder Curtis Jones from Liverpool for €35 million, marking the start of a new chapter in the 25-year-old's career away from England.

Jones has signed a contract with Inter Milan that runs until June 30, 2031, thus concluding a lengthy career with Liverpool that began when he joined the club's academy at the age of six, after previously rejecting opportunities to move to the academies of Manchester United and Manchester City, preferring to fulfill his dream of playing in the Reds' shirt.

Jones progressed through various youth teams at Liverpool before getting his chance with the first team, making his official debut in January 2019 against Wolverhampton in the FA Cup.

During his time at Liverpool, Jones participated in 228 matches and scored 22 goals. He also won several titles, most notably two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup twice, the Community Shield, and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2019.

Jones is known for his ability to play in various midfield positions, along with his dribbling skills and ball retention, making him the sixth English player in Inter's history.

The player leaves Liverpool after eight seasons to embark on his first professional experience outside England with the Nerazzurri, signing a contract that runs until the summer of 2031.
