Liverpool Prepares New Bid for Bradley Barcola
Liverpool continues to show interest in signing French winger Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain during the current summer transfer window, as the English club aims to strengthen its attacking line.
According to "The Mirror," Liverpool has received signals that they could finalize the deal for an amount ranging between €130 million and €150 million, which is approximately £111 million to £128 million.
Liverpool is preparing to make a new bid for Barcola, as the club finds itself in need of strengthening its attack following Mohamed Salah's departure this summer.
The financial demands represent the main obstacle for the deal, as Paris Saint-Germain is asking for around £130 million, a sum that could make the transfer of Barcelona a new record in the English transfer market.
Liverpool received a positive boost after Paris Saint-Germain excluded Parkour from their squad for the match against Lens in the French Super Cup. The Mirror reported from journalist Fabrice Hawkins that the Parisian club does not wish to retain the player, while Liverpool has made verbal offers without a formal written proposal so far.
Hawkins indicated that the next official offer could be enough to finalize the deal if it ranges between £111 million and £128 million. Parkola scored 13 goals and provided 7 assists across all competitions last season, helping Paris Saint-Germain clinch both the Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League titles.
