Gavi, the midfielder for FC Barcelona, has shown a remarkable humanitarian side by allocating €1.3 million to a project aimed at providing housing for individuals facing difficult living conditions in his hometown of Los Palacios y Villafranca.

According to "La Razón," Gavi's investment will be allocated to contribute to the construction of 150 homes, which will provide stable housing for around 300 people who lack the resources to secure a home.

The project is not about making a profit, but rather aims to improve the living conditions of the town's residents, and to give back a portion of the support Gavi received from his community since the beginning of his football career.

Gavi previously stated that he is aware of the difficulties faced by some residents of his hometown, stressing the importance of using his position to help others. He said: "I have seen a very large number of people struggling to survive during the cold winter nights without a safe roof to protect them. I have always believed that I have a responsibility to act when I have the opportunity to make a difference."

Gavi spent a significant part of his childhood in Los Palacios before moving to Barcelona, where he was close to his family. His father, Pablo, worked while his mother was employed at a laundry for Real Betis, immersing him in a football-related environment.

The Barcelona player holds great appreciation for his hometown, having previously expressed his gratitude to his family, friends, and everyone who contributed to his career. He emphasized that the hard work and sacrifices he made to reach where he is today were worth it.
