Zamalek Pays 5% of Players' Overdue Dues
Media personality Amir Hisham revealed that Zamalek has paid 5% of the overdue dues to the team’s players from last season, noting that there is a disparity among players in the amounts disbursed due to the varying contract values.
In his program Modern Sports, broadcast on Modern MTI channel, he stated: "So far, only about 10% of the total 50% from last season has been spent, aside from some bonuses from last season."
Hisham explained that Mamdouh Abbas has distributed exceptional financial bonuses to the team players, in recognition of their significant efforts after successfully clinching the Premier League title during the last season.
Zamalek is set to begin their journey in the new season of the Egyptian Premier League with a match against Ittihad Alexandria this evening at Cairo International Stadium, with the game scheduled to kick off at 8 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
