Ahly vs Smouha Match Postponed

The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association has announced the postponement of Al Ahly's match against Smouha, originally scheduled to take place in the Egyptian Premier League. This marks the first change to the competition's schedule.

An official statement from the clubs' association read: "The Competitions Committee has decided to change the date of the match between Al Ahly and Smouha in the third round of the first phase of the league, which is set for Tuesday, September 1."

The statement added: "The match is set to be held on Thursday, September 3, at Cairo Stadium at 8 PM, due to the inability to host any matches at Cairo Stadium on September 1 and 2."

Al Ahly starts its journey in the new season of the league for 2026-2027 this coming Sunday, facing ENPPI at Cairo Stadium in the first round of the competition.
