Shobir: Zizo's Injury Won't Affect His Performance Level

Famous broadcaster Ahmed Shobair confirmed that Al Ahly emerged with several technical gains from their friendly match against Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Cup held last night, Wednesday.

Barcelona defeated Al Ahly 2-1 in a friendly match held at Spotify Camp Nou, with Ahmed Sayed Zizo scoring the only goal for Al Ahly in the encounter.

Shobeir stated in a radio interview: "I believe that Al Ahly gained significant benefits from the match against Barcelona, the most important being Zizo, whose confidence is starting to return after last season's heavy criticism. The minor injury won't prevent him from maintaining the same level, God willing."

Al Ahly has concluded its external training camp in Spain, which began on August 6 and ended last night, Wednesday, in preparation for the upcoming season. During the camp, the team played three friendly matches.

Al Ahly secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Badalona, showcasing their attacking prowess. However, they faced a setback against Europa, losing 2-1 in a closely contested match. The team concluded their preparations with a challenging encounter against Barcelona.
