The renovation works at Spotify Camp Nou have seen notable progress over the past three months, coinciding with Barcelona's return to their stadium for the Joan Gamper Trophy match, following three months since their last game there against Real Betis on May 17.

According to "Mundo Deportivo," the support structure for the future stadium roof is nearly complete, with only a small section remaining in the middle of the main stand. Meanwhile, internal work continues in the third stand, preparing to open the side areas and the south goal to fans during the first quarter of 2027.

The newspaper reported that the glass facades for the double-ring VIP boxes are nearly complete, in a move expected to provide a significant source of revenue for FC Barcelona.

The lighting works have undergone a noticeable change, as the floodlights have been moved from the top of the second stand to the peak of the third stand, which was their previous location before the renovation work began in June 2023.

In terms of internal facilities, the preparations for the first team dressing room at Barcelona are nearing completion, with usage set to begin once the necessary permits are obtained, alongside several other areas within the stadium.

The source indicated that the next step will be the opening of the new press room, which will be equipped with an auditorium-style design, while work continues at the stadium in preparation for the upcoming phases of the renovation project.
