Al Nassr Extends Current Board Term by 90 Days Following Sports Ministry Decision
Al Nassr has announced the extension of the current board of the club's company for an additional 90 days, following the Ministry of Sports' decision regarding the completion of the procedures for transferring ownership of the non-profit institution.
The decision came after the ownership of the non-profit organization at Al Nassr was transferred to the Public Investment Fund, coinciding with the dissolution of the organization's board as part of the new measures.
Al Nassr has confirmed that the extension of the board's term, effective from July 17, 2026, aims to ensure the continuity of operations and management of the club during the transitional phase.
The company stated that this step is part of the investment and privatization project for sports clubs, which aims to enhance the attractiveness of clubs and open wider avenues for investment and the development of the sports sector.
The board of directors continues to monitor the files and tasks related to the club during the extension period, alongside completing the necessary requirements and organizational procedures related to the ownership transfer phase.
Al Nassr has stressed its dedication to ensuring stability within the club's operational framework, which guarantees the continued implementation of the plans and programs set for the upcoming period.
