Bayern Munich Extends Cassiano Kiara's Contract Until 2030
Bayern Munich has confirmed the future of young defender Kaciano Kiara, reaching an official agreement to extend the contract of the 19-year-old German international until 2030, a move that reflects the club's confidence in his future potential.
Kiara is 17 years old and joined Bayern Munich's academy in the summer of 2024 from Hertha Berlin, before earning a chance to appear with the first team under coach Vincent Kompany.
The young defender made his first-team debut during the match against Heidenheim last December, which ended in a 4-0 victory for Bayern Munich.
Sporting director Christoph Freund praised the potential of Kiala, confirming that Bayern plans to gradually integrate him into the first team.
Froind stated: "We have high hopes for Kasyano, and we want to gradually integrate him into the first team. He is the second youngest player to participate in a match with the first team in Bayern Munich's history, and he has already taken on the responsibility of leading the Germany U17 national team. He possesses all the qualities needed to build a successful career with Bayern Munich."
The Bayern official noted that the player faced some difficulties during last season due to injuries, adding: "He struggled with injuries last season, and now we look forward to continuing his development with us."
The extension of Kiala's contract until 2030 confirms Bayern Munich's commitment to one of the club's most promising talents, as they continue to bet on his development in preparation for a larger role with the first team.
