Six Absentees in Real Madrid Training Ahead of Espanyol Clash
Real Madrid has resumed training for the highly anticipated clash against Espanyol, having completed their third training session this week in the city of Madrid, gearing up for the start of their campaign in La Liga.
Real Madrid visits Espanyol at RCDE Stadium on Saturday evening, in the second round of the Spanish league, in a match where the royal team aims for a strong start to the new season.
Real Madrid players, under the guidance of coach José Mourinho, held a training session that initially focused on the physical aspect. The players engaged in ball-related physical drills on the pitch before transitioning to tactical work.
The team concluded their training session by playing a series of mini matches, as part of their efforts to continue improving their technical and physical readiness ahead of the clash with Espanyol.
Training sessions saw Endrick, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy, Thiago Petaric, Rodrygo, and Raul Asensio training individually, with their absence expected for the match against Espanyol.
