Jan-Christian Dreesen, the CEO of Bayern Munich, confirmed that the German club has been aware of Jamal Musiala's nervous condition for a while, not just in the past two days.

Dreesen stated that the club has been in constant contact with the neurologist and the doctors overseeing Musiala's condition, noting that they had given the player the green light to participate in matches. The Bavarian official did not specify a precise date for informing the club about the player's status.

Musiala fell to the ground during the friendly match against Heidenheim on Tuesday, in an incident similar to what happened three days earlier against Leipzig.

Following the two incidents, the 23-year-old player revealed that he suffers from short, temporary absence seizures caused by a neurological disorder, confirming that they are treatable and that doctors have not identified any additional health risks associated with them.

According to medical reports relayed by German media, absence seizures are a form of epileptic seizures, but they are treatable and do not necessarily mean the end of a player's career. Musiala himself confirmed that he is receiving the best medical care and is optimistic about continuing his football journey.
